Undergraduate diplomas
New diplomas in music, languages and global issues allow you to extend your studies into personal or career interest areas.
From 2010, UQ students who have been offered a place in a UQ program may be able to undertake an undergraduate diploma concurrently with their undergraduate degree. The new diplomas will allow students to continue to develop their interests in music, language or global issues. Students will be able to complete the diploma by studying the equivalent of an extra year of courses that might either be spread out across the duration of the bachelor degree or undertaken in concentrated semesters.
Music
Music is a popular area of study with many students no matter what their main academic interest might be. Now, with the Diploma in Music, UQ students can continue to develop their interests, while completing their bachelor degree. This option is likely to be particularly appealing for students with a passion for music who have already attained a high level of competence in this area.
