How do I apply?
Applications for admission to undergraduate degree programs are made through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). Please visit the application information page for more details.
When do I apply?
To commence undergraduate degree study in Semester 1 2012, on-time QTAC applications are due by Friday 30 September 2011. Applications may still be lodged after this date, however higher application fees may apply. Please see the QTAC website for further information.

Does UQ have special entry schemes?
UQ has established special entry schemes to increase the participation of particular equity groups in tertiary study.

What is the UQ Bonus Rank Scheme?
The UQ Bonus Rank Scheme offers students currently completing Year 12 a chance to improve their entry rank if they have completed specified studies during senior. Please click here for further information.

UQ has over 300 scholarships available to new students commencing study in 2012. Visit the UQ Scholarships website for more information.

For programs commencing in semester 1 2012, the main round of offers will be released on Thursday 12 January 2012. A small number of offers will be made in February for any remaining program vacancies.
You will be able to check the outcome of your application online via the QTAC website, and successful applicants will be advised by QTAC in writing of their tertiary offer. Enrolment information will be sent by the University to successful applicants.
