Academic Credit
At UQ we don’t expect you to repeat study that you have already successfully completed at a similar level and standard elsewhere. You can apply for credit based on your previous work experience but be aware that the experience must be substantially the same in content and standard as that required for your program of study at UQ.
Credit for your previous study completed at another university, TAFE or other accredited private learning organisation is available so remember to include as much detail in your application as possible.
To discuss your options for academic credit you can contact the relevant Faculty or School or complete the contact form (pdf) and we’ll get in touch with you to discuss your needs.
