How to apply

If you are considering any of the following postgraduate coursework programs, please follow the steps below: 

Domestic Applicants

  1. Choose the relevant program from UQ's Courses & Programs website
     
  2. Contact the relevant faculty or school for more information, including any specific application requirements, application closing date and any additional documentation required.  Additional requirements are included in the individual program information in the Courses & Programs website. 
     
  3. Submit your application online or download and complete the Application for Postgraduate Coursework (PDF) and submit at a Student Centre or by mail to:

  4. For online applications, you can track the progress of our application and receive messages from UQ including offers of a place at UQ.  
     
  5. If your application is successful, you will be sent an enrolment pack with instructions for online enrolment, fee payment, and other important information.

Applications for postgraduate coursework programs commencing Semester 1 2012, close 31 January 2012.  Closing dates can vary so please confirm the date with the relevant faculty or school contact. 


International Applicants

If you are an international student applying for undergraduate or postgraduate programs at UQ, you can submit your application directly to the University or through one of UQ's authorised International Education Representatives.

Application Deadlines
It is strongly recommended that applications be submitted no later than:

 
Semester 1
Semester 2
November 15 of the previous year
May 15 of the same year
October 15 of the previous year
April 15 of the same year
